Yann le Meur

Yann le Meur is a French sport scientist. He earned a Ph.D in Physiology of Exercise from the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis in 2010 by studying the performance factors in high-level Olympic distance triathlon. His main research interests focus on performance analysis, training methodology, prevention of overreaching and recovery. At the same time, he is currently editorial member of different scientific journals. The biggest part of his work is not dedicated to research but mainly to work with elite athletes on a daily basis. Over the last decade, Yann worked with several French Olympic teams for Beijing 2008, London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games in both individual and team sports. Since april 2016, he is employed at full time by AS Monaco Football Club as scientific advisor of the club.
